Comparison of total variation with a motion estimation based compressed sensing approach for self-gated cardiac cine MRI in small animal studies

This repository contains the data files and undersampling patterns used in the paper. The code for spatiotemporal total variation can be found in the following repository

• Data set files: Control1.mat, Control2.mat, Infarct1.mat, Infarct2.mat.


• Data sets of small-animal retrospective cardiac cine (two control and two infarcted rat datasets). Each file contains the data before binning into cardiac phases, a binning vector and the target (fully-sampled data after binning).


• Undersampling pattern files: sampling_7_kt.mat, sampling_10_kt.mat, sampling_15_kt.mat, sampling_20_kt.mat. Undersamplings correspond to the percentage of data preserved in the acquisition (7%, 10%, 15%, 20%). Each file contains the undersampling pattern used.


• ApplyUndersampling.m: A function that prepares the undersampled data, given the data before binning, the binning and the undersampling pattern.


• Demo.m: This demo loads and prepares the data as it has been used in the paper
